Scott's Trip To New York: Letterman, Sondheim, Mamet

Just got back from New York City.  I was lucky enough to see three great shows.  I saw Led Zeppelin on David Letterman.  I saw a one night only show of Stephen Sondheim's Assassins which starred, among others, Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Michael Cerveris (Fringe), Mario Cantone (Sex and the City), Denis O'Hare (True Blood) and Becky Ann Baker (Freaks and Geeks.) I also saw Glengarry Glen Ross with Al Pacino (The freaking Godfather), John C McGinley (Scrubs), Richard Schiff (West Wing) and Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire.)  It was an amazing trip.  I will be discussing it on our year end show premiering Dec 15th.  I will tell you the story of how I pretended to be with the press to get the cast show of Assassins. (The Red Room should count, right?)  But for now, enjoy some pictures:

Here is an ebay listing for the program of Assassins

So there is a little taste of my Trip to New York.  Got to see some great shows and meet tons of really cool people.  I wanted to ask Richard Schiff to come on the show, but it was too crazy and I think he was losing his voice, so he wasn't in the mood to talk. Everyone was really nice though.  More details to come on our Mid Season Finale. Follow us on Facebook or twitter Subscribe to our Weekly Podcast on Television at iTunes
